Print-to-Order Terms of Service
What to Expect: Art Toys
Models made up of multiple pieces will by default ship unassembled.
Unless otherwise indicated, I generally print art toys hollow to save on resin and shipping costs. If you prefer otherwise, feel free to inquire.
Due to the nature of the printing process, Unsanded and Unprimed models may include small imperfections from the removal of supports. When building supports and placing drainage holes on models, I do my best to place them in less conspicuous areas, though it isn't always possible.
Unsanded and Unprimed models will ship in bubble wrap or similar padding, but will not otherwise include aesthetic packaging.
Unsanded and Unprimed models are always cured and afterwards washed in warm water and dish soap. There may possibly be some lingering resin odor which should disperse with exposure to open air.
Sanded and Primed models are intended to be ready-to-paint, with no further preparation required on the customer's end. I do my best to repair and/or sand away visible support marks, with any remaining surface imperfections located either at the model's base or within hard-to-reach crevices.
Unless otherwise requested, Sanded and Primed models will ship with an iridescent zip-closure standing pouch and a full-color printed label. The pouch may possibly be shipped flat with the model to save the printed label from damage. Pouches can be but are never heat sealed on my end.
Older packaging may include minor wear and tear from travel to and from conventions, markets, and other shows.
If your Sanded and Primed order is a gift, please feel free to request fresh packaging.
What to Expect: Miniatures
Models made up of multiple pieces will by default ship unassembled.
Unless indicated otherwise within the product listing, I do not offer the option for Sanded and Primed miniatures.
Due to the nature of the printing process, miniatures may include small imperfections from the removal of supports. When building supports for models, I do my best to place them in less conspicuous areas, though it isn't always possible to avoid visible supports marks.
Regarding bases: If the miniature includes a base, I sand the bottom flat for the best stability. Some miniatures may require glue or putty to properly stand on their bases.
